Artist: Martin Taylor Song: Garden Of Dreams Album: Kiss And Tell. I’m embarrassed to say, I didn’t know who Martin was when I got called on this session. I knew something was up when I walked into the studio and there sat Matt Rollings and Eric Darken. Two of the top call session players in Nashville. Another one of those, “What am I doing here?” moments. It was a good session though! I soon found out who Martin was and how great of a player he is!
Track 14 / Sunstep
Artist: Martin Taylor Song: Sunstep Album: Kiss And Tell. This song was a work out for me. Lots of unison lines. It was fun though. I don’t always get to play like this.
Track 15 / 53 Days In June
Artist: Keaggy, King, Dente’ Song: 53 Days In June. Album: Invention. This Album project was a trip! Phil keaggy, Wes King and Scott Dente. All amazing guitarists in their own right. Then they throw in Ken Lewis on percussion and myself on bass. The studio looked like a vintage guitar museum. I don’t know that I’ve seen that many guitars in one building aside from a music store.
