Larry once asked me before we went on stage. Chris, dont you ever warm up? I said, No, I just play these eighth notes for 15 minutes and then I'm ready for the next tune!

Artist: Larry Carlton Song: Put It Where You Want It Album: Deep Into It. Talk about being intimidated on a session! Billy Kilson on drums, Ricky Peterson on B-3, Rick Jackson on keys, Chris Potter on tenor sax and of course Larry on guitar. What was I gonna do!? Larry called later that night to say thanks and good job. I told him, man, I was nervous in there! Sittin with the big dawgs! he just laughed. That was a fun session though!
